ABOUT RIC PIPINO

Australia born, Ric Pipino began his career at the age of sixteen in Sydney, Australia, completing a four-year apprenticeship at the renowned Barry Livingston Salon before moving to London in 1979. There, he trained under creative directors educated through Vidal Sassoon, whose precision techniques and philosophy became the foundation of Ric's career.

In 1981, Ric relocated to New York City, where he quickly established himself as one of the industry's leading hairstylists. Over the past four decades, his work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, GQ, Marie Claire, and Glamour, and he has created campaigns for Donna Karan and Victoria's Secret. His celebrity clients have included Elle Macpherson, Fergie, Jaime Pressly, Bridget Moynahan, and Ali Larter, among many others.

Ric has collaborated with legendary photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Patrick Demarchelier, and Richard Avedon, and has been featured on programs such as The Oprah Winfrey Show and Access Hollywood. He has also owned successful salons in New York and Miami.

Today, Ric continues to work with private clients around the world while focusing on his newest passion, Ric Pipino Education—a global community dedicated to inspiring, mentoring, and educating hairstylists by sharing the knowledge and experience he has gained throughout his career.
